چکیده

For the detection of Cd(II) in aquatic media, a novel dicyanomethylene dihydrofuran hydrazone(DCDHFH)-based colorimetric chemosensor was developed. DCDHFH prepared by an azo-coupling process involving diazonium chloride 2, 4-dichloroaniline and heterocyclic moiety bearing active methyl group. The chromophore showed strong solvatochromism depending on solvent polarity due to electronic delocalization. pH sensory effects were also explored. could be used identify presence other competitive metals, as indicated variations color absorbance spectra. In cadmium ions, synthesized probe with hydrazone recognition exhibited significant sensitivity selectivity ions at ppm concentration level (10–250 ppm). A DCDHFH-immobilized paper test strip effectively for aqueous media various concentrations. According CIE Lab’s criteria, strength (K/S), UV–Vis spectra, abilities strips evaluated. optimal range determination monitored area 5.5–6.3, fast chromogenic change from yellow red relying concentration. deposition onto strip’s surface studied scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

New Coated Graphite Potentiometric Sensor for Selective Determination of Copper (II) Ions

A highly selective copper (II) coated graphite sensor was prepared by 1,13-bis(8-quinolyl)- 1,4,7,10,13-pentaoxatridecane (kryptofix 5) as a supramolecule ionophore into plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane. The best response characteristic was observed using the membrane composition of PVC = 30.0 mg, dioctyl sebacate (DOS) = 63.5 mg, palmitic acid (PA) = 3.0 mg and kryptofix 5 = 3.5 m...
